Collect Your Runner Kit This Week
All registered runners are requested to collect their runner kit bag during the scheduled distribution this week.
Your kit will include:
- Race BIB
- Safety pins
- Official event T-shirt
- Sponsor coupons, wherever applicable
Please collect your kit in advance and check the contents before leaving. Keeping your BIB, T-shirt, shoes, and other race essentials ready on Saturday night will make your Sunday morning much easier.

What’s Happening at Kanavu on Saturday?
Kanavu Thadam
Saturday begins with this, a special run featuring children from sai kiruba school, tiruppur. It gives children with special needs a joyful space to participate, move, and be celebrated as part of the running community. Their participation reminds everyone that a run is not only about speed, but also about inclusion, confidence, and shared experience.The run will be followed by a prize distribution ceremony recognising the participants.

Kanavu Karutharangam
An awareness discussion on OBC rights and education.
Mr. RathnasapapathySir, SFRBC President, and Mr. Velingiri Sir, Secretary of SFRBC and some more Guests will participate in the session. The discussion is expected to cover topics including:

- Why access to quality education matters
- Challenges OBC students may face in understanding and accessing reservation-related opportunities
- The importance and role of a caste census
- Awareness around the Jantar Mantar protest
- Why students should better understand issues that can affect their educational opportunities

After the discussion, participants can join for dinner, followed by a lively Kongu Valli Kummi performance featuring around 50–60 performers for approximately an hour.
The evening will also feature a dance performance by twin sisters, adding another cultural highlight before race day.
